A Thought . . .

I shared this quote I heard recently, in yesterday's blog . . .

Shame says, "I AM something wrong."
Conviction says, "I DID something wrong."

I would love to delve into the subject of shame some day and write and study and share, but that is not going to happen any time soon.  So, a thought for today . . .

"The one who trust in Him (Jesus) will never be put to shame."  ~ Romans 9:33

The beautiful truth about a walk with Christ is, He is not a shameful God.  He does  not shame us.  He invites us into conviction, that if we submit to, will transform us.  He took our shame on the cross - He became shame for us so we could be honored and esteemed.  When God looks at us (those who are in Christ) He sees Jesus and He approves!  Today, I invite us to put all our TRUST in Jesus and see shame dissipate.
