Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving From Our Family To Yours
Happy belated Thanksgiving blogger friends!  I love thanksgiving and have so very much to give thanks for!  This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with our Aunt & Uncle visiting from the  Midwest and all our cousins who have been slowly migrating to Arizona.  What a great time we had, hanging out together, talking, laughing and eating amazingly delicious smoked turkey, Iowa corn and a smorgasbord of pies.  There was no lack around our Thanksgiving table. What a beautiful day! We love our Arizona family!!  Then we stopped in at our friends that we normally celebrate Arizona Thanksgiving with and hugged on them and then off to another friends house for more pie and games.  I fell into bed exhausted but so thankful for the family and friends that God has so graciously blessed us with.  Also, this Thanksgiving season, I am thankful for continued healing in my back after surgery.

This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving verses . . .

Psalm 107:8-9 "Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing Love and His wonderful deeds for men.  For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things."

I found myself praying this verse throughout the weekend, especially the part that says, "He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry".  There are so many people physically and spiritually thirsty and hungry and I pray that God satisfies them with Himself this holiday season.
